Interviewing is the main tool in our selection
process. Usually, interviewing consists of two stages. The first
stage is a Telephone Prescreening that aims to establish a rapport
with the candidate, understand and/or generate his/her interest
in the new career opportunity, assess certain personal characteristics
(presentation skills, time-management ability, sense of humor, etc.)
and bring the candidate to the second stage of the process - the
Face-to-Face Interview.
The three major criteria we assess
at the Face-to-Face Interview are Professional Skills, Human
Skills and Motivation. To clarify professional skills
we find out about educational background, career history, and major
achievements and failures in detail. We have also developed a number
of testing procedures to check candidates’ professional skills in
different areas of expertise. We determine human skills and motivation
using a sophisticated scheme of open questions based on a Targeted
Selection Technique.
To ensure an unbiased attitude toward the
candidates, our conclusions are typically based on the opinions
of several consultants. Interviews are conducted over the course
of an hour in Russian and in a foreign language to judge candidates’
ability to understand and express themselves in both languages.
We also check references on presented candidates. This thorough
selection process assures a good fit with your corporate candidate
profile and saves you valuable time.
